Today marks a very sad day in the world of Science Fiction. Majel Barrett Roddenberry, wife of the late creator of Gene Roddenberry, died today of leukemia. She has done much for his legacy, keeping Star Trek alive, producing his other stories such as Andromeda, and even supported other series, like , in which she was a guest star for an episode.  She is known to many fans of Star Trek as Nurse Chapel in the origional series, but also as the voice of the ship's computer in every Star Trek TV series sense.  Her final performance will be the voice of the USS Enterprise's computer one last time in the upcoming movie.

From all of us, Thank you.
