First, the swords. My Fiancé got the rest of his sword collection from his parents and they were mounted on the wall. They greet me in the morning on the way to the computer. |

My weight. 154.4 lbs compared to my 165ish from a couple months ago. My 4 day moving average is about 155 and below my target for this month that will lead me to 150 lbs. |

This is the light rail ticket. There are three of them at the station outside our apartment complex. This third ticket machine, on the opposite platform from what I wanted, was the only one to take my card. Good job Trimet. |

This is a freeway that I walk by on my way to campus. US-26 as it joins I-405. Even if one gets a flat tire, how do you do THAT? |

This is the Center for Science Education at my University. I spend time here now and then to get some work done. |

Today I finished my Human Subjects Research Proposal. I should of finished this MONTHS ago, years ago actually. Finally, it is done. A real step forward. I hope my cynicism will eventually fall away too. |

This interesting stacked restaurant combination was on my walk through campus on my way to turn in my application. |

Space combat and trading games are my favorite video game. Sadly there are not as many as there use to be anymore. Eve-Online is a MMO game that I have played off and on the past couple years. About a month ago in the Firstones chatroom we were mourning the comatose state of our favorite game. Freelancer was the last good game from the genera, and that was new in 2003. So we thought maybe get back into Eve Online as a group. Some flaked out, but a couple of us are in there, and I am the CEO of the corporation (the name for player groups). |

We're making community commentary for Babylon 5 episodes. We had a tiral run tonight, and so far so good. I also need to get moving on turning season 1 into a miniseries. |
Oh My God.
Let me back up a bit first.
Yesterday was the middle of the week. I had a four hour shift from 12:30 to 4:30 on the sales floor. There were a whole bunch of carts in the back that needed to be restocked. I spent about half the time as a cashier up front resulting in only two and a half full carts being done in my four hour shot. Guest support (answering questions) also consumed a copious amount of time, especally when I was in Toys. However my discovery which resulted in me intentionally hitting my head on the shelf occurred in Stationary.
There was a box of Fallout 3 (windows version) sitting on the shelf in a basket. "What is this doing here?" I asked myself. "Oh look, the anti-theft sticker seals are missing," continued my internal monologue. My suspicious were confirmed when I opened the box and found the DVD missing.
Oh My God. People! In this day and age don't go into my store and shop lift a bloody computer game. If you don't know what torrenting is, or how to use other peer to peer applications, you have no business owning a computer that can play the newest games. It probably also botnet infested that is responsible for half the spam consuming my inbox and who knows what else. And who gets to fix your ignorantly infested computer? People like me. So go return that god damn computer of yours and learn to read a book, maybe it will make you smarter in the process.
Oh, no broadband? GET A JOB.
